SHAUN KURTZ | DR. MUNOZ | Shaun recently played the Priest in the upcoming feature film, "The Portal", starring Michael Madsen. He formerly worked with Serge Rodnunsky and crafted the lead in the thriller, "Black Cat". Other feature film credits include, "Dancing On a Dry Salt Lake", "This Is a Business" and "Weapon of Mass Destruction".
He has appeared on TV playing the role of The Stockbroker in "The Catalyst" (HBO/Cinemax) and on Discovery Channel’s "Critical Rescue" series, plus "Days of Our Lives" and "Extra" (NBC).
Theatrical work on the LA stage includes "A Raisin in the Sun" with the COLSAC Theatre Company and performances with the McCadden Theatre and the Michael Chekhov Studio.
A flair for acting developed early on while performing in local theatrical productions in Pittsburgh, PA. Shaun pursued business studies in college and graduated from Carnegie-Mellon University.
Working as executive producer on "Chill", Shaun reunited with filmmaker Serge Rodnunsky to tell this chilling tale and play the character of Dr. Munoz.
