ASHLEY LAURENCE | MARIA | is a multifaceted individual who began her work at an early age. As a child, you would find her creating art and characters in her mind. As she grew, she joined the local Teenage Drama Theatre, where her love of acting began to flourish. Not long after joining the theatre she landed her first leading role in the cult horror classic "Hellraiser", directed by Clive Barker.
Ashley later returned to make "Hellraiser II" and "Hellraiser: Hellseeker". However, it cannot be said that Ashley has been pigeon holed in the horror genre. She has also given powerful performances in such films as "Murder of Crows", starring Cuba Gooding Jr. and most recently "Lightning Bug", in which Ashley received rave reviews for her outstanding performance.
Not only has Ashley Laurence given strong performances on the big screen, but she has tested out the small screen as well, with guest appearances on many popular television shows such as "Beverly Hills 90210" and "ER". Ashley has also done many Hallmark movies of the week and films for Showtime.
Ashley has become a familiar face in national commercials for such companies as Geico (which won an award for best director), Coors Light, and Sudacare to name just a few.
In her spare time, you might find Ashley at the shooting range perfecting her firearm capabilities, relaxing by doing yoga, in her art studio painting, or at a gallery showing her works. Ashley’s stint in Europe greatly influenced her painting style and many of her paintings, cover art, and graphic novels are thought to be quite controversial and provocative.
